Bio

Lisa DeVries is a contemporary portrait artist based in Nelson, New Zealand. With a formal education in Visual Arts and Design, Lisa has over 20 years of artistic experience. Her award-winning work has solidified her reputation as a collectible artist throughout New Zealand.

Using oils to cultivate her expressive style, Lisa is passionate about capturing the essence of her subjects. Her finished works reflect her definition of a successful portrait; a person's spirit encapsulated in paint.
